Closure of the Irish Cheque Guarantee Card Scheme
On the 9th December 2010 the Irish Payment Services Organisation Limited (IPSO) announced that the Cheque Guarantee Card Scheme is closing on the 31st December 2011. This means that cheques up to ?130 written and accepted after this date will no longer be covered by the Scheme guarantee.
