Please note: This is not regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
Dedicated fund for Start-Up and Emerging Sectors
At Bank of Ireland we understand the financial challenges that developing businesses can face at a start-up or early stage. That’s why we’ve established the Start-Up and Emerging Sectors Equity Fund. Managed by Delta Partners on behalf of Bank of Ireland, our €17m fund has been created to support Irish start-up or early stage businesses.
Who is eligible?
The Start-Up and Emerging Sectors Equity Fund seeks to make investments of between €100,000 and €500,000 to high potential start-up companies that have an innovative idea, have the potential to export, and are operating in one of the following sectors: greentech/cleantech, life sciences, medical devices, ICT, software, internet, emerging technologies, R&D and trading companies.
So, if you’re looking to expand or develop your business activities, want to introduce innovations or new technologies into your company, or are seeking to fund R&D or acquire a new technology and have the potential to export, then this fund could be the financial support you’re looking for*.
*Investments will only be made in entities carrying on business in the Republic of Ireland that have potential to export. Investments will not be made if the proceeds of the investment would be used to re-finance existing debts of the business.

The Start-Up and Emerging Sectors Equity Fund is being managed on behalf of Bank of Ireland by Delta Partners who have been appointed Investment Managers. If you would like to know more about the fund and how to apply, then please visit the Delta Partners website at http://www.delta.ie
