With Bank of Ireland there are many ways you can make and receive payments. Deciding the best way to make a payment can be compared to the simple example of sending a product brochure to a customer. There are a number of options available to you e.g. standard post, express post, registered post, courier, email etc. Most likely, the option you choose will be dependent on your needs at the time and the importance you attach to a particular set of criteria, for instance is it important to get it there quickly? Do you have a particular budget to consider? Is security an issue?

Business On Line

If you require 24/7 access to your business account details and typically make regular but low numbers of payments either domestically or internationally then Business On Line is the product for you.

It allows you to:

  • view balances and transactions
  • make domestic and cross border payments
  • export files to company accounting packages

And now more than ever is a good time to consider banking online because if you register for Business On Line between 1st January 2012 and 31st of January 2013 you can have 6 months free monthly subscription to levels 1/ 2. Business On Line transaction fees and charges and regular current account transaction fees will be applied as normal.  Please refer to the Business On Line brochure, Schedule of Fees and Charges for Business Customers and the Schedule of International Transaction Charges.

Creditor Automated Payments

If your business has a requirement to make large volumes of payments either domestically or internationally than Creditor Automated Payments is the product for you.

It allows you to make high volume /mixed currency foreign and domestic payments to suppliers

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

If your business needs to make high volume domestic payments to suppliers and /or staff then our Electronic Fund Transfer products are for you

EFT allows you to make regular grouped domestic payments to employees and suppliers or the collection of payments from debtors through Direct Pay, Direct Credit and Direct Debit facilities

Account Reconciliation

Is suited to large businesses that require regular and convenient access to movements on their accounts

It provides account transaction details at regular intervals to customers wishing to receive details, in an automated form, of both debits and credits posted to their accounts
