KeyCode Setup - Final Steps

Thank you for logging on to Business On Line to go through the Administrator setup for KeyCode. Below is a reminder of the final steps you need to complete and instructions to help.

Set your PIN

  • Don’t forget to set your KeyCode PIN once you go through the setup process on Business On Line.
  • At the end of the setup process, you will see a ‘Next’ button on your app. Click ‘Next’ to confirm registration and follow the instructions to set.
  • You will need to remember this PIN in order to access your KeyCode app.

Call us to complete activation

If you have just setup the KeyCode app by following the instructions on Business On Line, please call us to complete activation.

  • +353 1 460 6445 – International

You will not be able to access your Administrator screens on Business On Line until you complete this step.

Log into Business On Line with KeyCode

For sole Administrator logon:

  • Enter your BOL Admin username on the BOL homepage.
  • Enter PIN in your KeyCode app and select the password option.
  • Enter the 6-digit password, from your KeyCode app.
  • The dashboard is now available.

For dual Administrator logon:

  • Each Administrator will require their own KeyCode app on their own registered mobile device.
  • Enter your BOL Administrator username on the BOL homepage.
  • Administrator 1 – Enter PIN in your KeyCode app and select the password option. Enter the 6-digit password from your KeyCode app, into the 1st password box on BOL.
  • Administrator 2 – Enter PIN in your KeyCode app and select the password option.
  • Enter the 6-digit password from your KeyCode app into the 2nd password box on BOL.
  • The dashboard is now available.

User Setup

Once the Business On Line Administrator(s) have activated their own KeyCode app, you have 5 days to complete the below 3 steps for each User to avoid any service disruption. If these steps are not completed within 5 days, the User will be locked out and will need to contact their Administrator to complete as soon as possible.

  • All Users on the profile need to download the Bank of Ireland KeyCode app onto their device.
  • Administrator needs to log in to their Business On Line Administrator profile and click the activate button beside each User on the Dashboard.
  • Follow the on screen instructions to complete User setup. If these steps are not completed within 5 days, the User will be locked out and will need to contact their Administrator to complete the above steps in order to continue using Business On Line.
