If you're thinking about starting your own business, why not benefit from a range of banking and practical business start-up solutions on the market? We offer certain current account banking services free of charge for 2 years, in addition to several other banking deals. We also offer additional support from some well known business experts to support your wider business start-up needs.
As a new business start-up customer with Bank of Ireland, from the date of opening your account where the account is opened between 1st January 2012 and 31st of December 2012, you can enjoy:
- Certain current account banking services free of charge for two years see below.
- 24 months free monthly subscriptions to Levels 1/2 of Business On Line, our online business banking service if you sign up on the day you open your New Business Start Up. This offer does not apply to existing Business On Line customers, multi-companies (company is within a group of companies) or Service Level 3 customers. Business On Line transaction fees and charges will apply. Standard Business Current account fees and charges will apply at the end of the 24 month period as outlined in the Schedule of Fees and Charges for Business Customers brochure (as may be amended from time to time).Contact us on 1850 264 265 and we will tell you how you can use these services, what terms and conditions apply and what fees and charges are applicable.
- A range of business deposit options to suit your start up business – from instant access to business notice accounts, and fixed term deposits over a range of terms. We also specialise in providing flexible deposit options that can be tailored to suit your business needs. Our Relationship Managers are here to listen, understand and ensure that your various business start-up needs are met with advice and support. Terms and conditions apply to all deposit products.
- Advice from your Business Adviser to identify and access the right finance and borrowing solutions for your business. Lending criteria terms and conditions apply.
- A Visa Business Card with the annual fee waived for the first year. An annual fee of €31 per card will apply thereafter. This offer does not apply to Gold Visa Business Cards. Government duty of €30 per annum per card applies. Lending criteria, terms and conditions apply.
- A full financial review with a qualified Insurance & Investments Manager.
- A consultation with our treasury specialists to help identify and manage any treasury risk your business may be exposed to, particularly if your business involves exporting or importing, or simply sourcing materials or equipment from abroad. Our treasury specialist will help to identify currency or trade risk and work closely with you in developing the right solution for your needs. Terms and conditions apply to Global Market products.

During the first 24 months from the date of opening your new Business Start-Up Current Account you will benefit from free:
• Current account maintenance fees and transaction fees
• Set up of standing orders or direct debits
• Amendments to standing orders
• Stop payment instructions
• Unpaid cheques/direct debits inwards
• Carbonised ‘businesscheck’ (Government duty of €0.50 per cheque applies)
In addition you will benefit from free note handling fees (on the first €13,000 notes lodged or withdrawn each quarter). Business Start-Up Current Accounts that are grouped for fee charging purposes will also receive this concession. This concession will apply until 3rd February 2014, standard Fees and Charges will apply to notes lodged or withdrawn after this date
All other fees and charges will apply to your account at standard rates including non-euro Cirrus and Maestro transactions undertaken in countries outside the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway.
