Providing your financial accounts

To help us continue supporting your business and keep our records up to date, we may ask customers with business borrowings to provide their latest financial accounts as part of our regular review process.

  • What we need from you

Please provide the following from your most recent signed financial accounts:

    • Balance sheet
    • Profit and loss account.
  • Types of accounts we can accept

You can provide any of the following:

    • Audited accounts
    • Certified accounts
    • Draft accounts
    • Consolidated accounts (if your business is part of a group).
  • Types of accounts we cannot accept

    Unfortunately, we cannot accept:

    • Financial projections or forecasts
    • Abridged accounts.
  • How to submit your financial accounts

Please email your most recent financial accounts to: CustFinAccounts@boi.com

  • I got a communication about a business, but I’m no longer the right person to contact. What should I do?

If we were in touch about a business lately, but you’re no longer the right point of contact, a quick visit to your local branch can put this right. You’ll need to bring valid ID with you, and any relevant business documentation you have. We can update the business contact details. That way, any business communications will be sent to the right person in future.

  • How to recognise genuine communications

You may get emails sent from:

noreply@bankofireland.com This is a valid Bank of Ireland email address.

If we ask for financial accounts, we will ask you to submit them via email only through: CustFinAccounts@boi.com

CustFinAccounts@boi.com is a valid Bank of Ireland email address for your business lending documents and financial accounts.

If you are ever unsure whether a communication is genuine, please contact us before taking any action.

  • Keep your account safe

We will never call, text or email asking you to share your six-digit passcode, one-time activation codes or your full 365 PIN. We will never ask for your full card details. Do not share them. Remember, we will never ask you to transfer money out of your account to protect yourself from fraud. For more information, visit Security Zone on our website.

  • How can I protect myself against fraud?

Fraudsters can insert a fake text into a thread of genuine Bank of Ireland text messages, so always be careful. If something does not seem right, do not click, and do not reply. If someone calls you asking for your banking details, hang up. To be sure that a Bank of Ireland text is genuine, you can use our free ‘TextChecker’ service. If you get a text that claims to be from us but you’re not sure if it’s genuine, here’s how to check it:

    1. Copy the text you want to check
    2. Open a new message
    3. Add the word CHECK and paste the text in after it in the same message
    4. Send for free to 50365.
