Update your Business Account Mandate

Your mandate lists the people who can operate your business account and the signing instructions that apply.

Provided you’re eligible, the easiest way to change your account signatories and/or change your 365 nominated user is through our online form.

Please read through this page – if you’re eligible, click the ‘Update your Business Mandate’ button at the bottom to proceed.

You can request a new mandate online if:

  • ✔ You’re an existing BOI customer with a business current account or deposit account opened in the Republic of Ireland
  • ✔ You want to add up to 4 signatories in total
  • ✔ Your new mandate is to apply to up to 6 accounts
  • ✔ You have basic signing arrangements (one to sign, two to sign, all to sign). You can’t assign payment limits to signatories through the online form.

What do you need to get started?

  • Step 1

    Complete our online form to request a new mandate.

    We’ll send you an e-mail to confirm we’ve received your request.

  • Step 2

    If everything is in order, your Authoriser(s) will receive a DocuSign from us to authorise the request.

    If there’s a problem with your request, we’ll e-mail the point of contact for more information.

  • Step 3

    Next, any additional signatories you nominate (who aren’t Authorisers) will receive their DocuSign to complete.

  • Step 4

    Once we’ve completed our checks, we’ll send you another e-mail to confirm the new mandate is in place.
