  • What is Bank of Ireland 365 Phone and Digital Banking?

    365 Phone and Digital Banking refer to our various online and phone banking services using:

    • 365 online on a computer or laptop
    • Mobile Banking on your smartphone
    • Tablet Banking using a tablet device
    • Phone Banking using a mobile or landline phone

    365 online

    Bank of Ireland’s online banking service is accessed through a web browser and offers you the convenience and flexibility to do your day to day banking at any time or in any space that suits you. It lets you carry out a wide range of banking activities including paying a utility bill, checking your balance, transferring money to other accounts and accessing eStatements.

    Mobile Banking

    Bank of Ireland’s Mobile Banking App can be downloaded to your smartphone (iPhone and Android). It is designed to help you perform your banking in a way that is convenient to you with many of the features from 365 online and Tablet Banking available.

    Tablet Banking

    Bank of Ireland’s Tablet Banking App can be downloaded to your tablet device from the Apple App Store or Google Play. It is designed to help you easily perform your day-to-day banking when and where suits you.

    Phone Banking

    Bank of Ireland’s Telephone Banking service allows you to do your banking by phone – just call 0818 365 365 or 01 404 4000. If offers the convenience of day-to-day banking 24 hours a day, 365 days a year so you can bank at a time and place that suits you.

  • Can I download my transaction history in 365 online?

    Yes, you can download your recent transaction history in CSV (comma separated value) format for current and demand deposit (savings) accounts on 365 online.

    The option to download transaction history can be found at the bottom of the 'Recent Transactions' page.

    This option is not available using the Mobile or tablet apps.

  • Does it cost me anything to use online and phone banking services?

    There is no additional charge for these services, however normal transaction and service charges, as well as international fees and charges, may apply. Normal data charges may apply specific to your network operator and / or your contract set-up. For more details, please see our Fees and Charges section.

  • What accounts can I register on Bank of Ireland 365 online?

    You can register the following Bank of Ireland accounts via 365 online:

    • Your current accounts, demand deposits;
    • Your Bank of Ireland credit card accounts;
    • Certain loan accounts.

  • Can I register dual users on my 365 online account?

    No. You can only register a single user on 365 online. Small Limited Companies will have a 365 nominated user.

  • How do I nominate a user to my 365 online account?

    One nominated user can be selected by completing a form in branch.

    Note: Two Directors will be required to complete this form.

  • Does Bank of Ireland have a Banking app?

    Yes, Bank of Ireland has both a Mobile Banking App and a Tablet Banking App. If you are already a 365 online customer all you will need to do is download our app from the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play store (Android). Once downloaded you will then be able to log in with your 365 online login information.

  • How can I opt out of Marketing consent?

    You can ask at any time to stop or change the methods by which marketing materials are sent to you. You can do this free of charge by writing to; Bank of Ireland, Consumer Banking, New Century House, Mayor St. Lower, IFSC, Dublin 1.

  • My 365 online session has ended abruptly. Why might that happen?

    For security reasons we have disabled the back, forward and refresh buttons of the browser so if you perform one of these actions your session may end. Your session may also be terminated if you perform another action while the page is still loading.

    Use the left hand navigation or where available, the back buttons within the page to navigate around the site.

  • Can I register for 365 online for my business accounts?

    Yes, If you are Sole Trader, Trading As. or Agri customer you can set up online and phone banking services yourself today. Small limited companies see below.

    Sole Trader, Trading As. or Agri

    Step 1: Register

    A Bank of Ireland current account is required to register for 365 online and phone banking. You can call our dedicated Activation team to get set up and start banking online straight away (please remember to have your account number on hand):

    Step 2: Login

    To login to 365 online or the Mobile or Tablet Banking Apps, you will need:

    1. Your 365 online user ID
    2. Password information, either:
      • your date of birth, or
      • the last 4 digits of your contact number
    3. Your six digit 365 PIN.

    If you are a Small Limited Company and would like access to 365 online Phone and Digital Banking, please contact your branch for further information.

    How to Login

    To login to 365 online or the Mobile or Tablet Banking apps, the nominated user* will need:

    1. Your 365 online user ID
    2. Password information, either:
      • your* date of birth, or
      • the last 4 digits of your* contact number
    3. Your six digit 365 PIN.

  • When can I transfer funds on 365 online?

    Once you have added a payee and activated the payee you are free to transfer funds. You can do this using 365 online or Mobile /Tablet App. However, the time and day you make the transfer will determine when your payee receives the funds.

    • To ensure that funds leave your account the same day and begin processing, you need to transfer before 3:30pm (ROI) or 4:30pm (UK) Monday to Friday.
    • To ensure that funds to leave your account the same day but only begin processing the next working day, you need to transfer after 3:30pm (ROI) or 4:30pm (UK) Monday to Friday or anytime Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

    If the payment is in euro and covered by Payment Services Regulations (PSR), we will ensure the Payee’s bank is paid within one banking day of funds leaving your account (above). If it is a cross-border payment1 in Sterling or another European Economic Area (EEA) currency (non-euro) we will ensure the Payee’s bank is paid within three banking days of funds leaving your account. If the international (non SEPA)1 transfer is not PSR regulated, we may take more time to pay it to the Payee’s.

  • How do I add a 365 online payee?

    365 Online

    To add a Payee on 365 online, please log in and follow these simple steps:

    1. Click Money Transfer on the menu on the left hand side;
    2. Choose Add a Payee from the menu;
    3. Choose the type of Payee - Bill, SEPA, or International;
    4. Choose the security code delivery method – SMS or Post;
    5. Enter Payee account details and click continue;
    6. Enter the 3 requested digits of your 6 digit PIN.

    Your Payee will remain inactive until you activate it using the security code.

    Mobile App

    To add a Payee using the Banking 365 Mobile App, please log in and follow these simple steps:

    1. Tap More on the bottom right of the screen;
    2. Choose Manage Payees;
    3. Choose the type of Payee – Add New Bill or Add New Person;
    4. Enter Payee account details and tap continue;
    5. Enter 3 requested digits of your 6 digit PIN.

    Your payee will remain inactive until you activate it using the security code. This code is sent by SMS.

    Tablet App

    To add a Payee using the Tablet App please log in and follow these simple steps:

    1. Tap the menu button on the top left;
    2. Choose Manage Payees;
    3. Choose Add a Payee from the menu;
    4. Choose the type of Payee - Bill, SEPA, or International;
    5. Choose the security code delivery method – SMS or Post;
    6. Enter Payee account details and tap continue;
    7. Enter 3 requested digits of your 6 digit PIN.

    Your Payee will remain inactive until you activate it using the security code.

  • If I lose or forget my 365 PIN, how do I get a new one?

    If you lose or forget your 365 PIN, simply call 0818 365 365 during advisor hours and we will issue you with a new one.

    You cannot use 365 Phone and Digital Banking services until your new 365 PIN is validated.

  • Can I order an up-to-date eStatement now?

    You can now order an eStatement in 2 simple ways as outlined below:

    Online

    1. Log onto 365 Online;
    2. Click the Service Desk;
    3. Choose Order a Statement;
    4. Enter details and click continue.

    Over the Phone

    1. Call 0818 200 365;
    2. Choose Option 1 Account Enquiries;
    3. Choose Option 5 All other services;
    4. Choose Option 1 Order a Statement;
    5. Enter account details and 3 requested digits of your 365 PIN.

    If you order your up-to-date statement before 3:30pm on a working day the statement will be produced overnight, ready to download via 365 online the following working day.

    You may also request an up-to-date Paper statement for your Mortgage, Notice deposit or Term Deposit accounts online via the Service Desk choosing the “Ask a Question’ Option. These paper statements will be issued to you by post in 3-5 working days.
