Our guide below shows how you can make changes to your Business On Line profile.

  • Can I add accounts to my Business On Line profile?

    Yes. The new account must match the legal entity and company name of accounts already held on your Business On Line profile.

    If your profile is Multi Company the new account name must be one of the companies listed on the Multi Company Legal. To request this change you must complete the General Amendment Form.1

    Note. You can find your Business On Line Customer Number under the menu bar at the top of the screen after you have logged in to Business On Line.

  • How do I change the Administrator on my Business On Line profile?

    To change your profile administrator, please complete a Change of Administrator form.

    To get a Change of Administrator form please email your details to Business.Online@boi.com

    You can also contact the Business On Line helpdesk for the form. Please quote your profile number.

    Note: You can find your Business On Line Customer number underneath the menu bar at the top of the screen after you have logged in to Business On Line.

    Depending on your company’s legal entity, your letter must be signed off by one of the groups below:

    Sole Corporate: Company Secretary and any remaining Administrator.
    Sole Trader: Sole Trader and any remaining Administrator.
    Partnership: All partners and any remaining Administrator.
    Multi-Company: Company Secretary and any remaining Administrator.

    This request must be forwarded to your branch for authorisation and sign off prior to sending it to:

    Bank of Ireland
    Business On Line Admin Department,
    1st Floor, Operations Centre,
    Cabinteely, Dublin 18

    We cannot process any requests that have not been fully authorised by your branch. If we receive a request which has not been authorised correctly we will return it to your branch, indicating where the document needs to be signed. The branch must then return the document(s) to the Business On Line administration unit.

  • How do I change an address or phone number?

    To request this change you must complete the General Amendment Form.1

    Note: You can find your Business On Line customer number underneath the menu bar at the top of the screen after you have logged in to Business On Line.

    You must forward this request to your branch for authorisation and sign-off prior to sending it to: Bank of Ireland

  • How do I close my Business On Line profile?

    If you no longer have a requirement for Business On Line, you can close your profile by returning a completed copy of the form below.
